Javier was an excellent guide! He gave us context of the land, the people, and the history for our day to Cotopaxi. On the hike to the refuge he was encouraging and at the same time respectful of our intentions and capacity. He was knowledgeable of the flora & fauna. Javier is very pleasant to be with! His English is very good and knowledge of world and USA music phenomenal. I used that to build a shared bond early in the experience. Hats off to Javier!
