Departure from Quito in the morning. We will take the Panamericana highway to go to Baños de Agua Santa that is located about 175 kilometers, 2 hours and half. We will make an stop to take the breakfast on the way. 

We continue on the route, there is possible to see different elevations which are part of the Volcanoes Avenue as the Cotopaxi Volcano, Ilinizas or twins and more. Also in Salcedo town we will taste the famous ice cream “Helados de Salcedo” in Ecuador.

We’ll arrive about 13:30 to get the lunch time (not included), then we will continue to the Tree House, located at 1,800 meters above sea level, where we’ll have a panoramic view of the city and the majestic Mama Tungurahua, a conical peak at 5,026 meters above sea level, which is potentially active. Here, we’ll experience the famous swing at the end of the world.

Next, we’ll head to the Mirador Manos de la Pachamama, where we’ll experience the sensation of vertigo while standing on concrete hands at the edge of a precipice, connected by a glass bridge. The experience is unique and exhilarating.

In the evening, you’ll have free time to visit some of the local spots offering karaoke, nightclubs, bars, restaurants, and more, based on your preferences.

After a delicious breakfast, we’ll proceed to the waterfall route along the Pastaza River, with its various tributaries such as Agoyán, Río Negro, Río Blanco, and Río Verde. Along this route, you can see several waterfalls, including Manto de la Novia and the famous “Pailón del Diablo”. We’ll have the chance to descend to 1,300 meters near the waterfall, where there’s a small rocky section similar to a cave that provides an impressive view of this majestic natural creation.

We’ll have time for lunch (not included) and then return via the same route, passing over a cable car across the Pastaza River near the “Manto de la Novia” waterfall, which is approximately 200 meters high.

There’s also the option to participate in extreme activities like Canopy (not included) over the Pastaza River, with a 25° incline and a length of 1,000 meters above the river.

We’ll visit the Basilica of the Virgin of Baños de Agua Santa, a new Gothic-style building constructed by the Dominicans. The interior decoration deviates from the new Gothic style, featuring various colorful paintings representing the miracles of the Virgin, and the entire construction is made of volcanic stone.

Return to Quito: Finally, we will return to Quito, where we will arrive at the end of the day. We’ll take advantage of the return journey to relax after the day's experiences.
